This week we continue to look at the principle of Quality of Instruction from Greensand's PACE model.
Our resource this week is a video clip and comes from the researchers at Inner Drive, an organisation which helps teachers use the findings of cognitive science to reach their full potential in the classroom.
This clip examines the 'redundancy effect' - the ways in which we might design our resources which may cause our students' working memories to be overloaded and therefore impact on their learning. The video contains quick tweaks that can be made in order to avoid this.
We hope this of use to you all.
