A Journey of Collaboration, Support and Challenge

Our relationship with Kingswood Primary School began two years ago when they joined us as an Associate Member. This period allowed us to work closely together, sharing resources, expertise and best practices, whilst the school continued to retain its distinctive character. Throughout this time, we have been deeply impressed by the school’s commitment to educational excellence, its strong community spirit, and its dedication to pupil development.

The decision to transition from associate to full membership was a natural progression, reflecting the strong alignment between the school’s values of ‘Building knowledge, learning with purpose, aiming for success’ and our Trust’s vision. We are confident that this partnership will continue to flourish, bringing mutual benefits to both the school and the wider Greensand community.

The Power of a Strong Network

At the heart of Greensand is the belief that schools are stronger when they work together. By joining our Trust, Kingswood Primary School gains access to a wealth of resources, from specialised training programmes for teachers to shared curriculum materials and support services. These resources are designed to enhance the quality of education across all our schools, ensuring that every pupil has the opportunity to succeed.

Moreover, being part of our Trust means that Kingswood Primary School is now part of a dynamic community of staff and learners who are committed to continuous improvement. Our schools regularly collaborate on projects, share best practices and support one another in overcoming challenges. This collaborative approach not only benefits the pupils but also fosters professional growth among teachers and staff.

Celebrating Our Collective Strengths

One of the key advantages of our MAT is the ability to leverage the unique strengths of each member school. Kingswood Primary School brings to our Trust a deep connection to its local community, a strong emphasis on pupil wellbeing and a tradition of academic excellence. We are excited to see how these strengths will contribute to the wider network and how, in turn, the school will benefit from the collective expertise of its fellow members.

Already, plans are underway for joint initiatives that will provide new opportunities for pupils and staff alike. From inter-school events and collaborative learning projects to shared professional development sessions, the possibilities are endless. We are confident that these initiatives will not only enhance the educational experience for pupils but also strengthen the bonds between our schools.

Looking Ahead

As we welcome Kingswood Primary School into our Trust, we are filled with optimism for the future. This new chapter represents a significant step forward in our shared mission to provide the highest quality education for all pupils, regardless of their background or starting point.

Our MAT is more than just a group of schools; it is a community dedicated to nurturing talent, fostering innovation, and achieving excellence. With the addition of the Kingswood Primary School, our network is stronger than ever, and we look forward to the many achievements that lie ahead.

Together, we will continue to support each other, share our successes and work towards our common goal of ensuring that every pupil steps into their greatness. We are excited to embark on this journey together.

“We are delighted to officially join Greensand Multi Academy Trust and become part of an organisation that always strives to improve the success of its pupils and staff. Having been Associate Members of the Trust for two years, we have already benefitted from the collaboration, support and challenge that the Central Team and colleagues from within the other schools are able to offer.

Greensand encourages schools to learn from one another, leveraging each school’s strengths to support each other and improve overall performance. For Kingswood, whilst we continue to maintain our unique character and close-knit community feel, we can also draw on the strengths of other Greensand schools and enjoy access to a broad range of resources and expertise that would have been beyond our reach as a small individual school.”
